Consent Agenda

Item 4

Public Hearing: To discuss the Reinvestment Zone to be known as the Big Elm Solar
Reinvestment Zone #1.

Item 5

Discuss and consider approval or take appropriate action on an order concerning the
adoption and designation of the Reinvestment Zone pursuant to the County’s
guidelines and criteria under the Property Redevelopment and Tax Abatement Act,
Chapter 312 of the Texas Tax Code.

Item 6

Discuss and consider authorizing the County Judge to execute a tax abatement
agreement with First National Bank Texas of Killeen for a new headquarters building
project to be located at 2201 Trimmier Road, Killeen, Texas.

County Engineer:

a. 2Conduct a Public Hearing and Consider Approval to establish five 30 mph
speed zones in The Belton Lake Estates Subdivision on the following roads:
Wildwood Dr, Spring Canyon, Canyon Heights, Cedar Crest Dr. and Jenny
Slipper Dr. located in Precinct 1, Bell County, Texas.

b. Consider the Preliminary Plat Approval of “Mill Creek Springs Phase X.” Being a
40.31 acre, 64 lots, 3 block Subdivision, located within the Village of Salado’s
ETJ, Bell County, Precinct 2.

c. Consider Final Plat Approval of the “Greg D. Walker Subdivision.” Being a 2.148
acre, 1 lot, 1 block Subdivision located within the City of Temple, Bell County
Precinct 1.

d. Consider Final Plat Approval of the “Edgar M. Bounds Mountain Road Addition.”
Being a 4.0032 acre, 4 lot, 1 block Subdivision located within the City of Temple,
Bell County, Precinct 1.

Consider approval to apply for US Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Assistance
grant under the Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding Program Solicitation
FY 2020 in the amount of $58,000.

Discuss and consider action on the Bell County Local Disaster Declaration dated
March 18, 2020, any associated Directives that have been issued by the County
Judge, and any federal or state declarations or orders associated with such.
